Wetland and Aquatic Ecosystem Consulting Services

Wetland Solutions, Inc. (WSI) provides a variety of environmental consulting services including design and implementation of treatment wetland projects, design and implementation of wetland restoration projects, aquatic and wetland ecological evaluations, surface water quality studies, data collection and analysis, interpretation of environmental data, and preparation of Quality Assurance Project Plans. Dr. Robert L. Knight is the president of WSI and has conducted hundreds of ecological and water quality studies throughout the United States. Dr. Knight previously spent 17 years with CH2M HILL in Gainesville, Florida where he directed more than 150 projects. Dr. Knight has continued consulting on his own since 1998, first as a sole proprietor and currently as President of WSI since October 2000.

WSI’s highly qualified professional staff include Ronald A. Clarke, M.S.; an environmental scientist with 12 years of aquatic and wetland experience, Christopher H. Keller, M.E., P.E., an environmental engineer with 13 years of treatment wetland design experience; Debra Segal, M.S., a wetland scientist with 20 years of experience in wetlands restoration, monitoring, and permitting; Sky Notestein, M.S., an aquatic ecologist with extensive experience working in Florida’s springs, rivers, and lakes; and other full and part-time technical support staff.

WSI has successfully completed over 200 environmental services consulting contracts since incorporation in 2000. Approximately two thirds of those projects focused on water quality improvement in wetland communities. WSI's technical focus also includes whole ecosystem-analysis of springs and other aquatic ecosystems, treatment wetland design and operation, water quality assessments, and wetlands ecological assessments. WSI's staff excels in evaluation of water quality in wetland and aquatic ecosystems, complex and routine biological sampling, and large-scale data management. This extensive environmental experience is the basis upon which WSI continues to successfully meet client needs for quality environmental services.
